I took all the ideas and visual styles that I experimented with on the scans and applied them to my photographs. These include adding grunge and paper textures, adding the colour palette (mostly pink and purple), adding rips and overlaying the photos with sketches and jewellery textures. I plan for these to be used for some poster designs, make up some bits of the video and be included in the interactive design. As well as edited photos I made some animated GIF style sequences to be included in the video as they’re a fun dynamic way of using a static image. I want the visual identity to be clear and consistent across the static, sequential and interactive outcomes. Below are my edited photos from my session in the photography studio:
Reflection: With all of these edited photos and the edited scans I have a large collection of imagery to use. I have found the aesthetic that I want for my final pieces and have created a clear and unique visual identity. Now it’s time to start creating my poster designs, interactive piece and social media video.
